FAQ's

Who can apply for these clinical rotation programs?

Our programs are open to medical students, foreign medical graduates (FMGs), nurse practitioners, and international physicians seeking U.S. clinical experience. Whether you are in pre-clinical or clinical years, we have suitable placements for you.

What specialties are available for rotations?

We offer rotations in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and various subspecialties including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, and more. Availability may vary based on location and timing.

Will I get a Letter of Recommendation (LoR)?

Yes, participants who demonstrate professionalism and commitment during their rotation may receive a personalized Letter of Recommendation from their supervising physician. This is highly beneficial for residency applications.

Are these rotations hands-on or observerships?

We offer both options:
  • Hands-on externships (for eligible candidates) include direct patient interaction, EMR usage, and clinical tasks.
  • Observerships are shadowing-only experiences and are ideal for international physicians or students without USMLE Step 1.

Do you assist with housing and visa documentation?

While we do not provide housing, we guide participants toward affordable accommodation options near their rotation site. For international applicants, we provide invitation letters that may support visa applications, but visa issuance is the sole discretion of the U.S. Embassy.

How soon can I start after applying?

Once your application is complete and documents are verified, placements typically begin within 2 to 6 weeks, depending on availability and specialty preference. We recommend applying early to secure your desired rotation period.
